Taking its title from the Hopi word for “life out of balance, ” this documentary explores humanity’s growing disconnection from nature, contrasting natural landscapes and elemental forces with contemporary civilization and technology. The film is screened as part of Belly, Yuyan Wang’s solo exhibition at Forde, and was proposed by Wang as a key influence on her work. A conversation with Wang will follow the screening.
